Puebco's creator was visiting a textile town in India, and found a specialty store that deals only in scraps. The bright neon colored fabric is from the sari, the traditional dress worn by Indian women. A sari is a single piece of cloth 5 to 9 meters long that is wrapped around the body, making the fabric thin and light. These colorful bucket bag totes are a pop of color and perfect for headphones, make-up, beverages and even laptops on the go.
Lining is made of towels and the entire bag can be machine washed or spot cleaned.

Since its founding in Japan in 2007, the brand has operated on the premise that the most interesting materials are those that already have a life behind them. Puebco works with salvaged and reclaimed sources - recycled military tents and clothing, decommissioned mail bags, truck upholstery, and repurposed parachutes — redesigning them into garments, bags, rugs, and home goods and bringing new life to the materials. Items are made in small batches to keep overproduction minimal and each run intentional.
